Bumble Bee - Bombus sylvestris
I am not sure if this little lady fell in the pond or got soaked in a rain shower but there was a bedraggled look about her. I moved her from over the pond and placed her on a french marigold to dry out. an ideal opportunity for a close up!
Once the sun came out she started to eat and then was happily flying about.
